As always, keep in mind that your grocery list may vary slightly from ours depending on what you need for this week’s meals or what you do not already have on hand that we do from previously meal planning creations, as well as diet restrictions or alterations to our recipes. Reminder that we also calculate the average prices for items based on the weekly ad for all locations or with prices averaged out from CashWiseDelivers.com. MEAL ONE: Cheesy Taco Hotdish Meal Plan Day 1

Change up the usual with this taco hotdish recipe!

Cheesy Taco Hotdish
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Oz. Packet Taco Seasoning
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Cup Jarred Mild Salsa
  • 8 Oz. Uncooked Rotini Pasta
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mexican-Style Cheese
  • Optional Toppings - chopped tomatoes, avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro
Instructions
  1. Preheat a large deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally until cooked thoroughly; drain grease.
  4. Stir taco seasoning into ground beef then stir in water, salsa and pasta noodles; bring mixture to a boil.
  5. Stir, cover and reduce heat to a simmer; cook for about 15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Turn off heat and stir in cheese.
  7. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Serve hot with optional toppings if desired.

MEAL TWO: One Dish Creamy Chicken & Rice Meal Plan Day 2

This one dish recipe is super easy and super yummy.

One Dish Creamy Chicken & Rice
 
Ingredients
  • 10.5 Oz. Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Cup Water
  • ¾ Cup Uncooked Regular Long-Grain White Rice
  • ¼ tsp. Paprika
  • ¼ tsp. Ground Black Pepper
  • 20 Oz. Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast Halves
Instructions
  1. Stir the soup, water, rice, paprika and black pepper in a 2-quart shallow baking dish. Top with chicken. Season with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover baking dish.
  2. Bake at 375°F. for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  3. Let stand for 10 minutes. Stir rice before serving.

MEAL THREE: BBQ Biscuit Cups Meal Plan Day 3

These little cups also make great party appetizers!

BBQ Biscuit Cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • ¾ Cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Dry Minced Onion
  • 16 Oz. Tube Jumbo Refrigerated Biscuits
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  2. Spray muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large pan, brown and crumble ground beef.
  4. Turn off heat and drain excess grease from ground beef.
  5. Put ground beef back in pan and add in BBQ sauce and dried minced onion; stir well.
  6. Separate biscuits and cut in half.
  7. Place biscuits into greased muffin tins.
  8. Press dough up and along the sides.
  9. Divide meat mixture between muffins.
  10. Sprinkle each one with shredded cheddar cheese.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.

These wraps are easily customized to fit your family’s tastes.

BBQ Ranch Chicken Bacon Wraps
 
Ingredients
  • 24 Frozen Banquet® Original Chicken Breast Tenders
  • ½ Cup Ranch Dressing
  • 4 Tbsp Barbecue Sauce
  • 8 Flour Tortillas
  • 2 Cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 Cup Chopped Tomato
  • 12-16 Oz. Bacon, cooked crisp
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Prepare chicken tenders according to package directions.
  2. Combine dressing and barbecue sauce in small bowl. Spread tortillas evenly with dressing mixture.
  3. Cover each tortilla with ¼ cup lettuce; press lightly into dressing mixture. Top evenly with tomato, chicken tenders, bacon and cheese.
  4. Roll up tightly. Cut each wrap diagonally in half to serve.

Ingredients
  • 1 Lb. Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
  • 1 Package Sloppy Joe Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Can (6 ounces) Tomato Paste
  • 1¼ Cups Water
  • 8 Hamburger Rolls
Instructions
  1. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in Seasoning Mix, tomato paste and water.
  3. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve in rolls.
